Hayley Erbert, wife of 'Dancing With the Stars' judge Derek Hough, underwent a second surgery to replace a portion of her skull that was removed during an emergency craniectomy earlier this month.
Erbert was hospitalized after a performance on their Symphony of Dance tour when she became disoriented and was diagnosed with a cranial hematoma from a burst blood vessel.
Hough has been providing regular updates on Erbert's condition on social media, thanking fans for their prayers and support.
Erbert's recovery process has been described as 'nothing short of a miracle' by Hough, who also noted that she still has a long way to go.
A year ago, Erbert was injured in a car accident with Hough, which left her with bruising, scrapes and swelling on one side of her face and forehead.
