Hawaii Doctor Arrested for Alleged Attempted Murder of Wife at Scenic Pali Lookout

  • The attack reportedly began after Arielle, a 36-year-old nuclear engineer, refused to take a picture with her husband during their visit to the popular tourist site.
  • Konig allegedly also tried to harm his wife with syringes during the assault, according to law enforcement sources.
  • Arielle sustained severe head and facial injuries and remains hospitalized in critical condition, while Konig was arrested after a six-hour manhunt near Pali Highway.
  • Konig, who worked as an anesthesiologist in Maui, has been suspended from his position pending the ongoing investigation, with charges against him still under review.
