Hatta Revamp Marks Key Milestones With Dam Amphitheatre, Three Farms and New School Completed

The programme channels investment into nature-led infrastructure to raise living standards for residents.

Overview

  • The 610-metre Hatta Dam Amphitheatre rises 37 metres with six rest areas, features inclusive gradients for People of Determination, and incorporates a 2,200-square-metre marble mosaic of the UAE’s founding leaders.
  • A new 18,600-square-metre school for more than 1,000 students is delivered with 44 classrooms, science labs, indoor sports halls, 4,700 square metres of playgrounds, and a 416-seat multipurpose theatre.
  • Three farms are operational, including expanded strawberry and leafy-greens facilities using hydroponic and vertical systems, smart crop-management, integrated training spaces, and on-site produce outlets.
  • Outdoor infrastructure now includes a 15-kilometre mountain-biking trail and a 10-kilometre hiking route, alongside expanded cycling tracks and upgrades to health and sports facilities.
  • Ongoing works cover a 213-home Emirati neighbourhood in Makan, the Hatta Majlis for 130 people, a 1,000-capacity wedding hall, and a community service centre, under the Supreme Committee’s Dubai 2040-aligned plan.
