Hase and Wolodin Secure EM Gold, Marking Milestone for German Eiskunstlauf

Minerva Hase and Nikita Wolodin scored 212.48 points, surpassing Italy's Sara Conti and Niccolò Macii, who finished second with 206.89 points.
The victory is the first European Championship gold for a German pair since Aljona Savchenko and Robin Szolkowy in 2011.
Their performance included a strong short program and a bravourous free skate to Vivaldi’s 'Four Seasons,' overcoming minor errors and intense pressure.
The competition was overshadowed by a tragic plane crash in Washington, which claimed the lives of several figures from the ice skating community, prompting a moment of silence at the event.
Hase and Wolodin now set their sights on the World Championships in Boston this March, aiming to improve on their bronze medal from last year.
