Overview
- The Special Task Force identified the suspects as Raman Singh, a US green card holder, Lokesh Singh, Balraj alias Balram, and Ravinder Singh alias Ravi, all from Mundri village in Kaithal.
- Raman and Lokesh were detained in Nissing on January 10 and Balraj and Ravinder were arrested in Pundri on January 14, according to police statements.
- Officers recovered four foreign-made pistols, eight live cartridges, and a recently purchased bullet-proof Ford Endeavour tied to the group.
- STF officials say Raman arranged two hired shooters for an October 18, 2025 attack in Fresno that wounded Harry Boxer and killed his associate Banwari Godara, and that the group also played a role in the December 23, 2024 Stockton killing of Sunil Yadav.
- Investigators allege the men ran extortion rackets across northern states and report that coordination with the CBI and Interpol has begun because US authorities want them in connection with the two killings.
