Haryana Starts ₹2,100 Monthly Payouts to 5.22 Lakh Women, Rolls Out Paperless Registry

Aadhaar e-KYC on the state app uses monthly liveness checks to verify identity before disbursal.

Overview

  • Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini transferred ₹2,100 each to 5,22,162 beneficiaries, a first instalment totaling ₹109.65 crore under the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana.
  • As of October 31, 6,97,697 women had applied; among 5,22,162 verified as eligible, 3,46,983 completed Aadhaar KYC and 1,75,179 remain pending with payments triggered once verification is finished.
  • Officials say over 1,000 men were identified and excluded through live photo–Aadhaar cross‑verification after concerns raised by a reported gender‑fraud case in Maharashtra.
  • Beneficiaries must complete monthly liveness detection via the Lado Lakshmi app, which serves as the end‑to‑end platform for enrollment, verification, transfers, grievance redressal and monitoring.
  • Phase‑one eligibility covers women aged 23 or above with family income under ₹1 lakh and at least 15 years’ Haryana residency, with rules enabling recovery of wrongful claims with 12% annual interest and land‑revenue action or civil imprisonment if needed.
