Overview
- From the second month, beneficiaries will receive ₹1,100 in cash with ₹1,000 deposited into a government-run RD/FD that matures within five years with interest.
- Eligibility now also covers mothers whose children in government schools score over 80% in Class 10 or 12 or achieve grade-level competency under the NIPUN Bharat Mission in Classes 1–4.
- Mothers who rehabilitate children from severe or moderate acute malnutrition, as verified by the Women and Child Development Department, become eligible under a category with an income ceiling of ₹1.8 lakh.
- Existing age and domicile rules remain, and mothers with more than three children are excluded under the expanded social-development category.
- Beneficiary lists will undergo community validation by gram sabhas or urban ward bodies, with assistance discontinued if a recipient is found ineligible during verification.
