Haryana Municipal Election Results 2025: Counting Underway Across 7 Corporations

Votes are being tallied for mayoral, council, and committee elections held earlier this month, with results expected today.

The Haryana municipal elections were conducted on March 2, with additional voting in Panipat on March 9, to elect mayors, presidents, and ward members across seven municipal corporations, four municipal councils, and 21 municipal committees.
Counting of votes began at 8 AM on March 12, with results expected to be announced later in the day.
The elections mark the first time Congress has contested Haryana municipal polls under its party symbol, challenging the BJP, which recently won the state assembly elections in October 2024.
Strict security measures, including multi-layered police deployment, are in place at counting centers across districts such as Gurugram, Sirsa, and Karnal to ensure a smooth process.
Notably, 26 ward members across various municipalities were elected unopposed, with prominent winners from districts like Faridabad, Gurugram, and Karnal.
