Haryana Doctors End 18-Day Strike, Ayushman Bharat Services to Resume

The state pledged to clear pending reimbursements within a month following talks with IMA leaders.

  • The resolution followed a state secretariat meeting involving Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Sudhir Kumar and Ayushman Bharat CEO Sangeeta alongside IMA representatives.
  • The strike began on August 7 over unpaid claims reported at Rs 400–490 crore and alleged arbitrary deductions, disrupting access for about 1.5 crore beneficiaries.
