• Graylin Waters, 29, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a firearm for the May 28 shooting near 158th Street and Paulina Avenue as Willow James rode home with her father and cousin.
• Investigators say a stray bullet fired by Waters grazed Willow’s head and officers recovered the gun believed to have been used during a search of his vehicle.
• Waters is scheduled to appear at a detention hearing Tuesday at 8 a.m. at the Markham Courthouse in Cook County.
