Harvard Medical School Blast Deemed Intentional as Police Release Images of Two Persons of Interest

Investigators led by Harvard police with FBI assistance are seeking public tips following a pre-dawn fourth-floor explosion that left no injuries.

Overview

  • The device detonated around 2:48 a.m. on the fourth floor of the Goldenson Building on Harvard’s Longwood medical campus.
  • A responding Harvard University police officer saw two masked people running from the building and was unable to stop them.
