Overview
- Harvard Kennedy School returning international students could study as full-time, non-degree special students at the University of Toronto’s Munk School with courses taught by both faculties.
- The backup program will only launch if a sufficient number of students are prevented from re-entering the U.S. due to visa or entry restrictions.
- Eligibility is limited to international students who have already completed one academic year at Harvard’s Cambridge campus.
- Harvard also announced “HKS Global,” an online curriculum complemented by up to three in-person convenings in cities outside the United States.
- The partnership follows federal injunctions that have blocked the Department of Homeland Security’s efforts to strip Harvard of its SEVP certification and bar foreign students.
