Overview

  • Police identified the late Saturday victim as 20-year-old Isaiah Molina, who was shot at the People's Ballroom near Main Street just before midnight.
  • The most recent shooting occurred just before 9 p.m. Sunday on the 100 block of Brook Street, killing one man and wounding another with non-life-threatening injuries.
  • A separate shooting around 1 a.m. Sunday on Franklin Avenue left one person in critical condition.
  • Two additional victims with non-life-threatening injuries arrived at a local hospital on their own at about 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday.
  • Major Crimes detectives have not located several scenes or determined whether the incidents are related and urge anyone with information to call the Hartford Police Department's tip line.
