• The Forbidden Forest trail opens October 3 at YMCA Camp Duncan in Ingleside, Illinois.
• Guided hikes begin at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday and run about 45 to 75 minutes.
• Tickets priced at $46 for adults and $31 for children go on sale July 30 at 10 a.m. with a priority waitlist available.
• Visitors can activate wand-triggered lights and encounter unicorns, nifflers, hippogriffs and other enchanted creatures.
• A themed village at the trail’s end features Butterbeer, food and gift shopping, and parking can be reserved in advance for $10 or purchased onsite for $12.
