Harry Donahue, KYW Newsradio Mainstay and Philadelphia Sports Voice, Dies at 77

Overview

  • He joined KYW Newsradio as a freelance reporter in 1974, became an anchor in 1979, and spent about 35 years in the morning-drive and sports anchor roles.
  • He was the TV and radio voice of Temple football and basketball for more than two decades and called play-by-play for the USFL’s Philadelphia Stars in the 1980s.
