- Yulin’s five-decade career spanned more than 100 film, television and stage roles, making him a familiar face from the 1970s through the 2020s
- He delivered standout performances as Mel Bernstein in Scarface and Judge Stephen Wexler in Ghostbusters II, and appeared in Training Day, Clear and Present Danger and Netflix’s Ozark
- On Broadway, he debuted in the 1980 revival of Watch on the Rhine and returned for acclaimed runs in The Diary of Anne Frank, The Price and Hedda Gabler
- He earned a Primetime Emmy nomination in 1996 for his guest role on Frasier and was praised by American Classic director Michael Hoffman as “one of the greatest artists” he had ever encountered
- Yulin taught acting at Juilliard and Columbia University and is survived by his wife, Kristen Lowman, son-in-law Ted Mineo, nephew Martin Crane and godchildren Marco and Lara Greenberg
