Harley-Davidson X440 T Launched in India at Rs 2.79 Lakh With Ride-By-Wire, Two Modes, Traction Control and Panic Braking Alert

Prices drop on the Vivid and S trims as the Denim base model exits the range.

Overview

  • Bookings open December 7 across Harley-Davidson and Hero Premia outlets and online, with deliveries scheduled to begin in January 2026.
  • The X440 T adds ride-by-wire, Road and Rain modes, switchable traction control, and switchable rear ABS, plus a panic braking alert that flashes all indicators during hard braking.
  • Styling revisions focus on a redesigned rear sub-frame with a longer integrated tail and seat, bar-end mirrors, refreshed graphics, and four new colours.
  • The mechanical package is unchanged with a 440cc air-oil-cooled single making about 27 bhp and 38 Nm paired to a six-speed gearbox, while core hardware like KYB USD forks and MRF tyres carries over.
  • Revised pricing sets the X440 Vivid at Rs 2,34,500 and the X440 S at Rs 2,54,900 (ex-showroom), and the entry Denim variant has been discontinued.
