Emily Robinson, England and Harlequins flanker, has been banned for five weeks for headbutting Saracens’ Sydney Gregson during their Premiership Women’s Rugby match.
The incident occurred after Gregson pushed 18-year-old Quins team-mate Ella Cromack, triggering Robinson's violent reaction.
Robinson accepted the charge and expressed remorse, noting that she had apologised to Gregson following the game.
The headbutt was initially deemed worthy of a 10-week ban, but was reduced to five weeks due to Robinson's conduct, remorse, and record.
Robinson will miss Harlequins’ next five fixtures against Exeter, Gloucester-Hartpury, Leicester, Loughborough and Bristol.
