Harlem Subway Attack Leaves Woman Injured as Police Search for Suspect

A 37-year-old woman was slashed and pushed onto tracks during a dispute with her ex-boyfriend at a Harlem subway station.

The incident occurred around 11 p.m. on Tuesday at the 125th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue subway station in Harlem.
The victim, who knew her attacker, was slashed in the face and pushed onto the tracks but managed to climb back to safety.
The suspect, described as having dreadlocks and wearing a black hoodie with a colorful flower design, fled the scene and remains at large.
Police are reviewing surveillance footage and seeking public assistance in identifying the suspect.
This attack contributes to a rise in felony assaults in Manhattan north of Midtown, with 70 incidents reported this year compared to 56 last year.
