  • Married women observe a strict nirjala fast and perform solah shringar—donning green attire, mehendi, sindoor, bangles and bindi—to honor Goddess Parvati’s reunion with Lord Shiva.
  • Times Now lists key puja muhurat windows as Early Morning Sandhya (5:08–6:14 am), Amrit Kaal (1:56–3:34 pm), Vijay Muhurat (2:55–3:48 pm) and Godhuli Muhurat (7:16–7:38 pm).
