• Hardly Strictly Bluegrass confirmed its initial roster of headliners for the Oct. 3–5, 2025 festival in Golden Gate Park.
• The first wave of performers spans genres including bluegrass, indie rock, jazz and rockabilly with acts such as Lucinda Williams, Courtney Barnett and Samara Joy.
• On Sept. 13 Lyle Lovett will perform with the San Francisco Symphony at Davies Symphony Hall in a benefit concert for the Music and Mentors school program.
• “A Tribute to Emmylou Harris & 25 Years of Hardly Strictly Bluegrass” will take place Oct. 2 at the Masonic in Nob Hill with proceeds aiding Bonaparte’s Retreat.
• Organizers say further artist announcements are expected in the coming weeks as part of expanded silver anniversary programming.
