The Hamptons estate known as La Dune, once listed for $150 million, sold at auction for $88.48 million.
The estate was sold in two parts, one house for $40.5 million and the other for $38.5 million, with a buyer's premium bringing the total to $88.5 million.
The estate, located on Gin Lane in Southampton, New York, was once owned by Canadian art magazine mogul Louise Blouin, who bought it for $13.5 million in the 1990s.
The property features two mansions, 23 bedrooms, two pools, a tennis court, a home theater, spa, sauna, two gyms, and 400 feet of oceanfront.
The sale still needs to be approved by a bankruptcy judge in mid-February.
