Overview

• A 55-year-old man was insulted with homophobic slurs and threatened around 14:45 on 27 August near Pinnasberg/Antonistraße in the Park Fiction area.
• The assailant acted from within a larger group and fled, and immediate police searches did not locate him.
• The case has been taken over by LKA 73, which handles hate-crime investigations in Hamburg.
• Police released a description: male, perceived southern European, about 170–175 cm tall, with a three-day beard, in a black T-shirt with white–orange lettering and light trousers.
