Hamburg Plans Housing for Trainees on Iconic St. Pauli Street

Hamburg's financial authority announced plans to construct a trainee housing complex on the Große Freiheit, a famous side street of the Reeperbahn.
The facility will accommodate up to 150 trainees from municipal companies in single apartments and shared flats for four people.
The project, estimated to cost up to €20 million, will be developed on a city-owned plot between two music clubs, Gruenspan and Indra.
Finance Senator Andreas Dressel described the initiative as a strategic move to attract top talent from outside Hamburg by offering unique housing opportunities.
The Große Freiheit, a vibrant nightlife destination visited by tens of thousands every weekend, will serve as the location for Hamburg's first trainee-specific housing project.
