Overview

  • At least five runners collapsed on June 29 under 22 °C conditions and required on‐site resuscitation
  • Feuerwehr Hamburg conducted 34 rescue deployments and handled 139 medical assists along the 21 km course
  • More than 10,000 participants ran the route that followed the Elbe and looped around the Alster
  • All athletes who received emergency care were reported to be in stable condition by the race’s end
