Hamburg Airport Gears Up for Autumn Break Surge as Antalya Leads Destinations

Pre-dawn openings with self-service tools aim to speed security during the school holiday peak.

  • Terminals open from 3:15 a.m. and security from 3:30 a.m. through the end of October, complemented by free Slot & Fly reservations for security time slots and widespread self-service kiosks.
  • Airport guidance recommends arriving at least two hours before departure, reducing hand luggage, reserving parking online and using airlines’ evening check-in options from carriers such as Condor, Lufthansa, Eurowings and Swiss.
