Halo Infinite’s Final Major Update, Operation: Infinite, Arrives Nov. 18

Halo Studios is reallocating the team to new Halo projects after four years of live-service updates.

Overview

  • The studio confirmed on a community livestream that Operation: Infinite is the last planned major content release, rolling out November 18 on console and PC.
  • The update delivers 2X gains for Career Rank and Spartan Points, a new Operation and Premium Pass with no expiration, and more than 200 Exchange armor items.
  • Multiplayer additions include a Yuletide map for the Husky Raid Quick Play playlist and a Vacancy map for select ranked modes.
  • Ongoing support will continue in a limited form with playlist rotations, bug fixes, rotating daily and weekly challenges, and more Ranked Seasons into 2026 and beyond.
  • Focus is shifting to multiple upcoming Halo titles, including Halo: Campaign Evolved targeted for 2026, with a PS5 version reported.
