  • Hallmark has partnered with Ryman Hospitality Properties to produce A Grand Ole Opry Christmas starring Nikki DeLoach and Kristoffer Polaha for its 16th annual Countdown to Christmas lineup.
  • Country star Brad Paisley will write and perform original music for the film and record the official anthem for Hallmark’s holiday broadcast.
  • The time-travel story follows DeLoach’s character as she’s transported to 1995 at the Grand Ole Opry, where she reconnects with her late father and rediscovers her songwriting passion.
  • Clare Niederpruem is directing the movie, which will begin filming in Nashville and at the Grand Ole Opry House in late August.
  • Hallmark will roll out an exclusive line of Opry-branded greeting cards, apparel and gifts later this year and plans to announce cameo appearances by familiar Opry artists.
