Overview
- At a Berlin press conference on August 27, Dieter Hallervorden announced the Schlosspark Theater’s 2025/26 lineup and said he will star on September 5 in his new version of Molière’s The Imaginary Invalid.
- He will play the lead in a fresh adaptation that also tweaks the German title to „Der eingebildet Kranke“ from the more common „Der eingebildete Kranke.“
- The season features in-house productions including „Erich und die Detektive – eine Erich Kästner Revue“ and „Die Bekenntnisse des Hochstaplers Felix Krull,“ the latter tied to Thomas Mann’s 150th birthday.
- The theater will also stage „Unkaputtbar – 100 Jahre Hallervorden,“ a personal evening in which he shares stories from his life with accompanying songs.
- Hallervorden, 89, framed the season as a statement of intent, declaring he is entering a “fighting decade” toward 100 and intends to keep taking the stage.
