- The 16-member committee will meet Dec. 7 at the Winter Meetings in Orlando, with results announced live on MLB Network at 7:30 p.m. ET.
- Election requires 75% support from the panel, with any honorees joining the Hall’s Class of 2026 to be inducted July 26 alongside BBWAA selections announced Jan. 20.
- A Hall policy adopted in March makes candidates who receive fewer than five votes ineligible for the next three-year cycle, and a second such result would bar future appearances.
- The ballot was set by the BBWAA’s 11-person historical overview committee, and PED-related allegations previously affected BBWAA support for Bonds (66%), Clemens (65.2%) and Sheffield (63.9%).
