Overview
- Customers must hold both an eligible Halifax current account (such as Ultimate Reward, Reward, Student, Basic or Money Smart Spending) and a qualifying savings account while ISAs and fixed-term savers are excluded.
- The service rounds up debit card purchases to the next pound and transfers the change the following working day but does not apply to cash withdrawals, foreign currency buys, bill payments via machines or fees at non-group ATMs.
- All joint account holders are required to enroll together and nominate the same savings account to receive their combined rounded-up funds.
- Once change is saved, it remains in the savings account even if the original transaction is cancelled, refunded or reported as fraudulent.
- Save the Change is now available across Lloyds Banking Group brands, including Lloyds Bank and Bank of Scotland.
