Valve celebrates the 25th anniversary of Half-Life with a major update, making the game free to download and keep.
The update includes new features such as updated graphics settings, gamepad configurations, online play, and four new multiplayer maps.
Half-Life Uplink, a mini campaign originally bundled with certain magazines and hardware, is brought to a modern audience.
The update also features a one-hour documentary on the making of the game, created in partnership with Danny O’Dwyer of Secret Tape.
All other Half-Life titles are discounted during the celebration.
