Former Miami Guard and Social Media Star to Play Her Final Season at TCU, Sister Hanna Not Returning to College Basketball

Haley Cavinder, former Miami guard and one of the most recognizable players in the name, image and likeness era of college athletics, has committed to play her final season at TCU.
Cavinder, who has 2,065 career points, led Miami last season with 12.2 points per game and 65 made 3-pointers.
Her commitment to TCU comes a month after she hinted at a return to college basketball without specifying where she planned to play.
Cavinder and her twin sister, Hanna, who is not planning to return to college basketball, have 4.5 million followers on TikTok and have been successful in leveraging their fame for various brand partnerships.
TCU, which was 1-17 in Big 12 games last season, has seen a turnaround under new head coach Mark Campbell, winning their first three games with all five starters being transfers brought in by Campbell.
