Haikyu!! Announces New Movie and TV Special, Suggesting Franchise May Continue

The sequel film, Haikyu!! The Movie: VS The Little Giant, and a new TV special adapt key matches from the Spring Nationals tournament.

Haikyu!! The Movie: VS The Little Giant will focus on Karasuno's climactic match against Kamomedai High School, featuring Hinata facing off against star player Korai Hoshiumi.
The new film follows 2024's Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle and continues the adaptation of the Spring Nationals volleyball tournament.
A new TV special, titled The Place Where Monsters Go, will adapt the match between Fukurodani Academy and Mujinazaka High School, showcasing key players Bokuto and Kiryu.
The removal of the 'FINAL' label from the official Haikyu!! website has led to speculation that more anime projects may follow after the announced films and specials.
No release dates have been confirmed yet for either the new movie or the TV special, but both were revealed during Haikyu’s 10th anniversary event.
