Overview

• On August 7 at the Walter Kerr Theatre, Hadestown celebrated its 2,000th Broadway show with a commemorative rendition of the finale number “Cups.”
• Original cast members including Reeve Carney, Eva Noblezada, André De Shields, Patrick Page, Rachel Chavkin and Jordan Fisher joined the current company for the curtain-call performance.
• Ali Louis Bourzgui, Phillip Boykin, Daniel Breaker, Lana Gordon and Myra Molloy will each take their final bows on August 31.
• Beginning September 2, the production will welcome Morgan Dudley as Eurydice, Kurt Elling as Hermes, Rebecca Naomi Jones as Persephone, Paulo Szot as Hades and Jack Wolfe as Orpheus.
• Hadestown continues its six-year Broadway run, enters a second year in London’s West End and has launched international productions in Sydney, Melbourne and Amsterdam.
