H-E-B Names Roxanne Orsak President Beginning January 2026

The 37-year company veteran becomes the grocer’s first woman in the role, with Craig Boyan moving to an advisory post before retiring in 2026.

Overview

  • Orsak is currently chief operating officer and will succeed Craig Boyan when she takes the presidency in January.
  • She joined H-E-B in 1988 and advanced through store operations, merchandising, procurement and format design roles.
  • Her initiatives include launching the H-E-B Plus! format in 2004 and Joe V’s Smart Shop in 2010.
  • Boyan, president since 2010, will remain on the board and serve as senior advisor ahead of his planned retirement at the end of 2026.
