Gyro Meal Kits Recalled in 24 States Over Salmonella Concerns

Sprouts Farmers Market has recalled Gyro Family Kits in 24 states due to potential salmonella contamination in the tzatziki sauce's cucumbers.
The recall affects kits with UPC code 20594800000 and use-by dates between December 29, 2024, and January 7, 2025.
The cucumbers, supplied by Reser’s Fine Foods, are linked to an ongoing salmonella outbreak involving 68 infections and 18 hospitalizations across 19 states.
Consumers are advised to return the kits for a refund or dispose of them and sanitize any surfaces that may have come into contact with the products.
The FDA is investigating the outbreak, which has been traced to cucumbers grown in Sonora, Mexico, and sold in the U.S. since October 12, 2024.
