Overview

• Teaching began Tuesday for grades 5–9 after a ceremonial key handover and the inauguration of headmistress Dr. Eva Weingandt.
• Two of four learning houses are operational, with the remaining buildings slated to open by midyear; parts of the triple sports hall remain closed for roughly two and a half weeks.
• The project is budgeted at about €110 million, including roughly €80 million from Landkreis Starnberg, representing its most expensive construction to date.
• The campus follows a modern learning concept featuring instruction rooms, open learning landscapes and subject areas that support self‑organised, team‑based work.
• Planned capacity rises to around 1,100 students once construction finishes, providing relief to neighboring schools such as Gymnasium Gilching.
