'Gwyneth Goes Skiing' Musical Set for U.S. PremierePark City

The musical 'Gwyneth Goes Skiing,' inspired by Gwyneth Paltrow's ski trial, will make its U.S. premiere at the Egyptian Theatre in Park City, Utah.
Darren Criss and comedian Catherine Cohen will lend their vocals to the soundtrack, with Criss portraying Terry Sanderson and Cohen as Paltrow.
The audience will play the role of the jury in the interactive musical, which also features drag queen Trixie Mattel digitally as Paltrow's mother, Blythe Danner.
The show previously had a successful run in London and will also be staged at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival before its U.S. premiere.
The musical is based on the 2016 ski collision between Paltrow and retired optometrist Terry Sanderson, which resulted in a trial where Paltrow was awarded a symbolic $1.
