GWM Confirms Tank 300 Plug-In Hybrid for Australia in Q1 2026

GWM says the Tank 300 Hi4‑T PHEV will reach Australian showrooms between January and March 2026.
The model uses GWM’s Hi4‑T system shared with the Tank 500 and Cannon Alpha, though Australian power outputs are yet to be confirmed.
Overseas data cites a 37.1kWh battery, about 105km WLTP electric range, and combined outputs of up to 300kW/750Nm with a claimed 0–100km/h time of 6.7 seconds, pending local validation.
Off‑road hardware carries over, including a mechanical 4WD system with low range and locking differentials, vehicle‑to‑load capability, and a 3000kg braked towing claim.
It will become the fourth powertrain in the local Tank 300 range and is expected to sit above the current flagship, with Australian pricing and full specifications to be announced in early 2026.
