Manthey confirmed Ayhancan Güven will make his FIA WEC debut as a Pro driver alongside returning champion Richard Lietz.
A day earlier, Güven announced he will not defend his DTM crown in 2026, calling his next steps “new and exciting.”
Daily Sportscar reports Manthey will be the only Porsche team on the WEC grid in 2026 after Penske exits Hypercar and Proton’s bid fell through.
The team targets back-to-back LMGT3 titles with the new 911 GT3 R Evo and plans an IMSA Endurance Cup program with two cars.
Further driver announcements are due in mid-December, while Ricardo Feller is tipped as Güven’s likely DTM replacement, which remains unconfirmed.
