Henry Cavill Leads Ensemble Cast in Film Based on Churchill's Secret WWII Task Force

Guy Ritchie's new film, 'The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare', is based on the true story of a secret task force created during World War II by British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and 'James Bond' writer Ian Fleming. The group, known as the Special Operations Executive, was tasked with secretly killing Nazis.
The film features an ensemble cast including Henry Cavill, Eiza González, Alan Ritchson, Henry Golding, Alex Pettyfer, Cary Elwes, Babs Olusanmokun, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, and others. The trailer for the film was released on January 30, 2024.
The film's title is a reference to the unconventional and 'ungentlemanly' fighting techniques used by the Special Operations Executive. These tactics significantly changed the course of the war and laid the foundation for modern black ops warfare.
The film also highlights the involvement of legendary actor Sir Christopher Lee in the real Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare. Lee served in the Royal Air Force during World War II and was attached to the Special Air Service, as well as the Special Operations Executive.
'The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare' is set to be released in theaters on April 19, 2024.
