• Acting on a tip-off, the local crime branch intercepted a truck at Manor on the Mumbai–Ahmedabad highway on October 4.

• Police arrested the driver, a native of Uttar Pradesh residing in Bhiwandi in Thane district.

• The seizure follows earlier Palghar actions including an August 28 recovery worth Rs 6 lakh with three arrests and a separate haul valued at Rs 1.23 crore with two drivers held.
