Overview

• Acting on a tip-off, teams set up a barricade on Pataudi Road near Wazirpur around midnight and intercepted an Innova without a number plate as its occupants opened fire.
• Roughly 18–19 rounds were exchanged before officers subdued five suspects, with four shot in the legs and hospitalized and the fifth, Gautam alias Gogi, taken into custody for questioning.
• Police identified the accused as Vinod Pehalwan, Padam alias Raja, Shubham alias Kala, Gautam alias Gogi, and Ashish alias Ashu.
