Overview
- Acting on a tip-off, teams set up a barricade on Pataudi Road near Wazirpur around midnight and intercepted an Innova without a number plate as its occupants opened fire.
- Roughly 18–19 rounds were exchanged before officers subdued five suspects, with four shot in the legs and hospitalized and the fifth, Gautam alias Gogi, taken into custody for questioning.
