Overview
- Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini laid the foundation stone for phase one of the corridor.
- Phase one includes 15.22 km of elevated viaduct with 15 stations, a 1.85 km spur to the Dwarka Expressway, and a ramp to the proposed Sector 33 depot.
- The full project spans 28.5 km with 27 stations at an estimated cost of about ₹5,500–₹5,600 crore.
- Gurugram Metro Rail Limited, a state–centre special purpose vehicle, will execute the project with HMRTC as the implementing agency and an expected four-year completion window.
