• Health officials raided Abha Homoeo Optical and Dental Hygiene near Dhani Chowk in Sector 52/53 on Tuesday night after a tip-off.
• MTP kits and surgical instruments used for pregnancy termination were recovered from a blue plastic drum at the back of the premises, with several kits found used.
• No MTP registration or retail or wholesale drug licence was located at the site, according to district health officials.
• The operator, identified as Nani Sarkar, fled on foot as the team arrived, and police say he remains at large.
• Seized materials and videographic evidence were handed to Sector 53 police, who registered a case citing BNS sections 3(5), 88, 91 and 125 along with MTP Act sections 3, 4 and 5.
