• Suman Kumar Singh, a daily wage laborer, fatally assaulted his son, Satyam, after the child refused to fetch him water on May 6 in Gurugram.
• The postmortem report confirmed that Satyam died from severe head injuries sustained during the assault.
• The child was initially treated at a civil hospital before being referred to PGIMS Rohtak, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
