• Rajasthan’s Guru Vandan programme honoured spiritual leaders, mahants and priests with Rs 2,100 stipends, coconuts, shawls and sweets across the state on July 10.
• Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah extended greetings on X while Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed special puja at Gorakhnath Temple and held public darshan.
• Millions of devotees gathered at key pilgrimage sites including the Saryu Ghats in Ayodhya, Aghor Peeth in Varanasi and the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj for holy dips and guru puja rituals.
• Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore wrapped up its inaugural seven-day Sadhguru Arpanam with a live satsang and musical offerings while Yogoda Satsanga Society of India held group meditations and bhajan chanting.
• Pandit Pradeep Mishra’s Kubereshwar Dham hosted Guru Diksha for around 20,000 devotees and Pandit Dhirendra Shastri’s Bageshwar Dham drew nearly 150,000 participants for initiation ceremonies.
