Overview

  • Lourdes Gurriel Jr. led off the 11th with a single to right-center off Scott Barlow, scoring automatic runner Corbin Carroll for Arizona’s sixth walk-off of the season.
  • Ketel Marte forced extras with a game-tying RBI single after a 13-pitch at-bat in the 10th.
  • Cincinnati had gone ahead 5-4 in the 10th after John Curtiss’ throwing error, but a Carroll throw and a diving tag by Moreno cut down a run on a foul fly to keep it close.
  • Moreno, activated after more than two months out, drilled a three-run shot in the third to stake the Diamondbacks to a 4-2 lead.
  • Ryne Nelson worked six innings of three-run ball, Jalen Beeks earned the win with a scoreless 11th, and a Geraldo Perdomo-to-Blaze Alexander double play on an Elly De La Cruz liner ended it as Arizona notched its third straight victory.
