• Chadha officially announced the sequel’s development during a press appearance in Basel ahead of the Women’s Euro final.
• Emma Hayes, head coach of the U.S. Women’s National Team, has joined the project as a collaborator on the script.
• Parminder Nagra, Keira Knightley, Archie Panjabi and Juliet Stevenson have been informed and will confirm their involvement after reviewing the screenplay.
